2025 Education & Social Opportunities

Madison Area Paralegal Association (MAPA) meets a minimum of five times a year to provide its membership with educational and networking opportunities. Reservations for MAPA events are required to attend all events unless otherwise noted. CLE credit is available for attendance (.1 units for Lunch &  Learns, .4 units for seminars). 

Through MAPA's partnership with NALA, MAPA receives information and access to multiple webinars a month, certified paralegal (CP) information and more, which are updated here frequently. Lastly, MAPA works with other paralegal associations and local educational institutions to feature event information here. Additional costs may apply.     

Annual MAPA networking opportunities include the Annual Membership Meeting, social and volunteer events, and field trips such as a Dane County Courthouse tour. Student members also benefit from educational and networking events geared toward their needs such as the annual Student Reception held at MATC. In addition, the Executive Committee (Officers,  Committee Chairs, and Appointees) meets six times per year and other committees meet on an “as needed” basis.
