Madison Area Paralegal Association (MAPA) meets a minimum of five times a year to provide its membership with educational and networking opportunities. This year, educational events include five Lunch & Learns (luncheons with guest speakers) and one Half-day Seminar. Reservations are required to attend these events. CLE credit is available for attendance (.1 units for Lunch & Learns, .4 units for seminars).

Networking opportunities include the Annual Membership Meeting, social and volunteer events and "field trips" such as the Dane County Courthouse tour. Student members also benefit from educational and networking events geared toward their needs such as the annual Student Reception held at MATC. In addition, the Executive Committee (Officers, Committee Chairs and Appointees) meets six times per year and other committees meet on an “as needed” basis.
